1,Consumers have never before had as many entertainment choices as they do now.動詞(have)が一般動詞なので、doかdoesを選ぶ必要があります。消費者たちと複数形のため、doesにならずdoです。2.While the candidate's wide experience in the field was an advantage, she did not have the necessary qualifications for the position. 候補者の幅広い経験となります。このexperienceという語は、可算名詞でもあり、不可算名詞でもありますが、この場合、wideが付いていて、経験の質を表していると考え、単数形となります。many等が付いていれば、複数でしょう。しかし、通常experienceは不可算であることが主です。3.Please check that all doors and windows are closed and locked before you leave. これは単純に受身形のためのbe動詞を入れるものです。未来形や過去形にはならないのはすぐわかると思います。to beが入ると、「閉められるべき」だと確認して、、、という、変な意味になります。4.Bob Jenkins has called in sick at least three times a month since he was promoted. sinseがあるので現在完了形の形となります。5.The shipment contained hree storage units that were damaged and had to be replaced． hreeとあるのは、threeですよね。had to be replacedで受身形。取り換えられなければいけない、交換されるべきだなどの意味です。have toほ基本意味はしなければならない、ですが、意訳として、べきだと訳すこともありますので、、、。 6.My boss is making me work all weekend to make up for time I missed last week. 本来なら、一番しっくり来る語はmadeなんですが、、、。まずmakesは、通常の状態を表す現在形で、これは先週のツケが回って来た形の特別な週と考えると適当ではないです。進行形と考えるとmakingのみでbe動詞が無いと文法的に成り立ちません。to makeの場合も、isが入って、「～と、云うことになっている」の形を取らなければ文法的に成り立たないので、現在進行形とします。
